Meta is launching a new set of paid subscriptions for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp worldwide, adding new monthly plans under its Plus branding. Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus will cost $3.99 per month, while WhatsApp Plus will cost $2.99 per month. The plans add paid features to apps that have historically been mainly ad supported. Instagram Plus includes profile customization and expanded Stories tools, such as aggregate rewatch data, unlimited audience lists, extended Story visibility, weekly Story spotlighting, anonymous Story previews, searchable viewer lists, more profile pins, Super Heart reactions, custom app icons, and editable bio fonts. It also lets users post directly to their profile or highlights without appearing in followers’ feeds.
