FUTO Keyboard 0.1.29 launches a major overhaul of swipe typing with the introduction of FUTO Swipe. According to the FUTO team, the new system achieves higher swipe typing accuracy than Gboard, the iOS keyboard, and HeliBoard. Following these improvements to input accuracy, users will also notice that the suggestion bar now displays three alternatives after swiping. This lets users take advantage of top-4 accuracy, with one accepted word plus three additional suggestions. The arrangement of suggested words is customizable, and users can also tailor space bar and backspace gestures, including the option to disable space bar cursor movement, all from the settings menu. Alongside these input enhancements, FUTO Swipe is now available for integration into other open-source projects.
