The situation with Fable 5 is simply nuts. It’s hard to justify funding a global compute infrastructure using only one domestic market; especially when the rest of the world can pool resources to build open-source alternatives. This approach raises a critical question: has the U.S. government inadvertently begun to slowly strangle its own tech industry? By doing so, they’ve essentially validated every sovereignty concern that other nations had in the first place. #AI #sovereignty
