It's a couple of days old, but I just read that story that Microsoft are considering using DeepSeek (the Chinese model) for Copilot Cowork, over the OpenAI and Anthropic models, because DS is massively cheaper.Maybe there's a future where cheap, efficient LLMs can be useful...But right now people will not pay the money that the tech industry has invested into AI companies and data centres.#AI
