What drives me up the wall about all this #AI stuff is that people treat it as if it was a deterministic thing that does the same thing every time. But it's not. Everything that has AI in it is effectively connected to a PRNG. Just because it did it right three times you can't trust it to not fuck it up the fourth time. Also, if it does you have no way to find out how and why. The wonderful thing about a #program is, that it doese the same thing YOU made it to do. Every. Singel. Time. If it's stupid, you are stupid and you know how to fix it: become less stupid. No such thing with AI. If we continue putting AI in everything, the functioning of society depends a very small set of companies not bumping the wrong weights with their elbow.
