Microsoft and Chevron signed a 20-year, 2.67-gigawatt behind-the-meter power deal today for a new Microsoft AI datacenter in Pecos, Texas. Chevron subsidiary Energy Forge One will build the Kilby plant with GE Vernova turbines, first power in 2028.
