🔧 MCP is dropping 3 core features in its next spec revision (RC 2026-07-28, SEP-2577): Roots, Sampling and Logging.Deprecated, not removed: they keep working for ≥12 months (SEP-2596 lifecycle).Migration:• Roots → tool params / resource URIs• Sampling → call the LLM API directly, or MRTR• Logging → stderr / OpenTelemetryI had these implemented in my own MCPs… time to plan.Were you using any? 👇#MCP #SelfHosting #HomeLab #LLM #OpenSource
