I've seen a few variations of "the #AI craze has driven hardware prices up so high hobbyists can't afford hardware and hosting solutions are becoming outrageously expensive."Two things to remember.1) This is a manufactured shortage. Companies *chose* to give all their product to AI companies over others and consumers.2) This is also part of the grift: make #computers so expensive you can't afford them, forcing you onto monthly paid platforms. Very handy when your product can't make money.
