Heard a bit about green software research yesterday. They were using a lot of metrics for hardware and consumption. And nearly none for creation of software.This feels a bit short sighted. Ever had, but now more then ever. With agents and LLM IMHO green software is basically dead.Do we really need more and faster? Or should we stop and think?
