Roblox has introduced Build, a new AI powered game creation feature for its mobile app. Users can create basic games from text prompts without programming experience or a desktop device. The tool combines open source and proprietary Roblox models to generate gameplay mechanics, environments, characters, visual styles, and sound. Users can modify generated games and share them with friends. Age verified users aged 9 and older will gain access through a public alpha launching July 28 in New Zealand, while users aged 16 and older can publish their creations globally. To limit low quality or repetitive content, Roblox says AI generated games will be ranked based on player retention, with less engaging titles receiving lower visibility. The company is also developing AI agents for playtesting and analytics, expected to launch in the coming months. Build will include free and paid options, though pricing and feature differences have not yet been detailed. View article on AlternativeTo »More ...
