Human rights group have grown extremely concerned over a future where robot soldiers fight the wars. But a startup founded in 2024 is racing to create humanoid robots that will automate factory work, build futuristic mega-cities, and, most strikingly, wage the wars of tomorrow. “It is so backwards that people in the Western world somehow have this disease of thinking that humanoid robots holding a gun is like as bad as a nuclear weapon,” Foundation Future Industries co-founder Sankaet Pathak says.
