I've tinkered with local AI coding setup. I need to treat it as a thief and crook. I configured few MCP servers, one being Kagi search. I hoped this, with proper api key, would reduce bot blocks. It's understandable sites blocking all these agents. - Hermes Studio failed to connect to Kagi saying "token looks like abbreviated in config". Solution: added instruction not to abbreviate token. 😂 - After any failure with Kagi the agent switches to duckduckgo (and continues failing there) . Instructed to use only Kagi MCP. Agent start calling curl duckduck... Instructed not to use terminal and curl for searches. Agent starts calling powershell curl duckduck. 😔 No wonder that these agents escape their sandboxes. They are made to permutate commands until they get a step further. Relentlessly. #AI #hermesagent #Kagi #duckduckgo
