One reason that not being able to discuss #llms #llm #vibecoding in a good faith manner here: it seems impossible to convey just how good these things have become and that, _because_ I care about the quality of the software I produce, basically let the llm do everything for me.If you at least entertain the concept that I might be (even just partially) right, then we can discuss labor impacts. If you firmly refuse to believe llms provide value because you tried it for 3 minutes with gpt-3.5-turbo 3 years ago, or assume that learning to use massive machine learning models requires no skill or effort, that is just intellectually lazy, in fact I can’t even understand how people can hold on to that cope, in this day and age, when I can generate working CAM software in 5 minutes.
