I think that programming adjacent activities that will be fairly robust to #ai #llms #llm is UX design (in the broadest sense, anything that humans use to interface with computational substrates), because it is fundamentally anchored in human cognition: taste, mental connections that are beyond “relationship between symbols”. Even the best of human UX designers know that good UX is chiseled out of the marble of iteration and refinement and creativity.The other one is “mathematics”, and in a way this is much closer to what I viewed programming as, except the direction is inverse.
