This week, I created this combination wrench tray for my toolbox in #FreeCAD.Normally, this would have been a lot of work, but I tried something new. I took about 100 measurements (10 for each wrench), took a picture of the measurement sheet, and gave it to #ClaudeCode connected to the #FreeCAD MCP. I told it to create VarSets from the measurements and explained how I wanted to construct the PartDesign, and it went to work. It was still a lot of back and forth to dial everything in. In the end, I had a #Python macro that creates this PartDesign. Fully parameterized with about 130 parameters, I can change just about anything.#FreeCadFriday #CAD #DIY #ai #3dprinting
