I've reminded of how #AI resembles the Java life cycle. When it first appeared it got a lot of attention, and there were people then who declared it was pure hype. It turned out that it was overly optimistic, but it's still there. It's still part of the infrastructure.Hmm. Will LLMs turn out being not cool but still used? If someone pulls off stronger AI, sure. Just like people developed stronger and less encumbered languages than Java.
