Zed for Business launches with advanced admin controls and flexible AI billing

Zed, the popular AI-native code editor, has introduced Zed for Business, a new offering designed for professional software development teams. The business-focused version is generally available at $30 per seat, per month, targeting enterprise users seeking specialized management features. With Zed for Business, prompt sharing and edit prediction training are turned off by default at the organizational level, and individual engineers cannot override these settings. This approach strengthens governance for companies handling sensitive code or data. In addition, administrators can disable Zed-hosted models, edit predictions, and collaboration tools across the organization.
