Is agentic coding the future of software development? @glyphYes, but also very much no. Current AI is super advanced autocomplete. Autocomplete has its place – for example, boilerplate stuff that is easily predictable. NetBeans already autocompletes my constructor methods based on my code and the fact that most constructors have the same stuff in them. I think that once the fuss has died down and the cost of running the things gets too real, we’ll be using AI for a better autocomplete and little else. #AI #techology
