Organic Maps, the open source offline map and turn-by-turn navigation app, has released an update introducing several new features and visual enhancements. Users can now tap on any bus, tram, train, or ferry stop to highlight the entire transit line on the map. Selecting from the displayed list of lines gives quick access to route details, streamlining public transit planning. Following the navigation improvements, map clarity has been enhanced with cleaner bookmark label placement. Bookmark titles no longer crowd each other, and pedestrian zones appear slightly darker. Route colors have also been adjusted for better contrast, improving readability across both light and dark themes. The update also brings expanded regional options in Asia. Vietnam and Malaysia are now split into smaller map regions, allowing users to download just the needed area.
