Spark Mail adds Mac CLI to give AI agents access to emails with model choice and AI skills

Spark, the widely used email client, has introduced Spark CLI: a command-line interface that allows AI agents to access email, calendar events, contacts, and meeting notes directly from Spark desktop’s local data storage. This unlocks AI-powered workflows across every major email provider supported by Spark, including Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, as well as any IMAP or Exchange Web Services accounts. Permissions for each connected account can be set through Spark’s settings to fit personal or business needs. Building on its model-agnostic design, Spark CLI lets users direct email data to the AI agent or large language model of their choice. This includes hosted options like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, or local models accessed through platforms such as Ollama and LM Studio.
