They play with computer "intelligence" (and with IQ tests, oh so many #IQ tests) and thus the #AI geeks pretend that they understand human intelligence as well, and thus ought to be recognized and rewarded by U.S. society as the people who really know about, well, everything—for computer geeks are exceptionally good at pretending as though their mastery of the byzantine (and often absurd) constructs of corporate technology has somehow made them expert on all topics. They may convince themselves that such services as Google and ChatGPT are equivalent to organs of their own brain, so that they can tell themselves with a straight face that they have superhuman intelligence (i.e. they can pass along Google search results or #LLM gibberish as if these things were from their own brain.)It's bad. It's a really terrible development in human affairs, the growth and metastasis of this narrow-minded, greedy, racist priesthood of high #technology, who are now attempting to lash all humanity onward...
