Murena has unveiled /e/OS 4.0, the newest release of its open-source, deGoogled Android operating system. This latest version continues to operate entirely without Google apps or services, providing users with a privacy-focused mobile experience. Building on this update, Blisslauncher, /e/OS' homegrown app launcher, gains a refreshed design. Users can personalize their interface by selecting from a dozen vibrant colors or uploading their own photos for wallpapers. Additionally, two app icons have been updated for a more consistent look. The updated migration assistant further streamlines onboarding for new users. It now enables importing all contacts, calendars, Google Drive files, and for the first time, Gmail data directly into the Murena Workspace ecosystem. Murena has also introduced Murena Sign, a digital signature tool supporting PDF, Word, and ODT formats.
