Wear OS 7 starts rolling out with new Gemini-powered features, Live Updates and XR support

Google has started rolling out Wear OS 7 to Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Watch 4, bringing several updates first previewed at Google I/O 2026. The most significant addition in this release is definitely the introduction of several Gemini-powered features such as Create My Widget, which lets users create custom Wear Widgets from natural language prompts instead of manually configuring each dashboard. The update also expands Gemini’s role with automation features for tasks like reserving classes, ordering food, or getting directions on Maps to specific places, along with contextual suggestions based on chat, Gmail, and search history.
