SpaceXAI launches Grok Bot, a new AI agent app for autonomous tasks on iPhone and Mac

SpaceXAI and Cursor have introduced Grok Bot, a new AI agent app for iPhone and Mac. Closely linked to SpaceXAI's planned $60 billion acquisition of Cursor, this new product is designed to carry out real tasks that involve interacting with third-party apps, rather than merely answering questions or producing content. While the traditional AI assistant from Grok focus on content generation, Grok Bot manages actual tasks for users and handles end-to-end jobs, only requesting human input when judgment is required, similar to other AI agents like OpenClaw, Claude Cowork or Perplexity Computer. Each Grok Bot operates in its own computer environment, can sign into user apps and websites, and runs in the cloud to continue activity even when the user's device is closed.
